Description

Please join us for a festive evening to discuss issues of importance to California and Mexico; meet potential collaborators; and learn about seed-funded projects in agriculture, civic engagement, urban infrastructure, healthcare, and other timely themes. We will also celebrate a new call for proposals that foster binational research.

Since 2014, CITRIS and the Banatao Institute have partnered with Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM) to strengthen collaboration between California and Mexico through interdisciplinary, intercampus research.

Spanning four UC campuses, the Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society (CITRIS) and the Banatao Institute create information technology solutions for society’s most pressing challenges. ITESM comprises 31 campuses in 25 cities across Mexico, and is one of the most academically recognized universities in Latin America.

Faculty and students from the University of California and ITESM are invited to attend the reception. Drinks and appetizers will be served.

Registration Deadline

Please RSVP by Monday, March 13th @ 4:00pm PST.
